The David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson-starrer cult supernatural drama ‘The X-Files’ is getting a reboot.

Fox TV group chairman Gary Newman today confirmed that the network is in talks for a new installment of Chris Carter’s drama.reports the indian express.

Later, Fox TV Group chairman Dana Walden said that the conversations so far have been only logistical, looking at windows when the key X-Files players, creator Carter and stars Duchovny and Anderson, are available, reported Deadline.

The series was made into a film and fans have been hoping that it would get a reboot. Fox is also hoping to bring a limited series on ’24’.
