A fresher reception ceremony was held at BUET for the newly enrolled students’ of Level-1, Term-1, of session 2015-2016 organized by the university. The function was addressed by Prof. Khaleda Ekram, Vice-Chancellor, BUET on Saturday ( 27th February, 2016) at the University Central Auditorium. Vice-Chancellor suggested the newly enrolled students to study regularly & attentively to build up their own carrier. She also emphasized the need to obey the rules of BUET to run the academic atmosphere properly and incurraged the students to avail the facilites of central Library and take part in the other extra curricular activities of BUET.
The function was also addressed by Prof. Dr. Maglub Al Nur, Dean, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Dr. Zebun Nasreen Ahmed, Dean, Faculty of Architecture & Planning, Prof. Dr. Md. Mazharul Hoque, Dean, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Prof. Dr. M. Kaykobad, Dean, Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Prof Dr. Md. Abu Hashan Bhuiyan, Dean, Faculty of Engineering a d Prof. Dr. M. Delwar Hossain, Director, Directorate of Students’ Welfare, BUET.
The newly admitted students’, Teachers’, Officers’, Employees were also present on the occasion. Registrar (Addl. Charge) of BUET Prof Dr. N. M. Golam Zakaria initiated the ceremony.
