Bashaboo Friends Association (BFA) running a schooling program since year 2000 for the disadvantaged children of ward no.4 & 5 under Dhaka south City Corporation. Up to class III there are 70 children are getting educational facilities along with all kinds of free logistic support like books,khata,pen.school bag,school uniform,socks & shoes etc.In connection with this Rotary Club of Dhaka North East and Inner Wheel Club of Dhaka North East has extended their helping hand since the inception of BFA school. Recently Rotary Club of Dhaka North East has announced BFA School as one of their serving project. They have sanctioned Taka 1,25,000 annually for the disadvantaged student of BFA School. This initiative inspired the BFA authority
Based on this project BFA arranged a reunion program on 14 May,2016 to have a lunch with the disadvantaged kids along with Rotary Club of Dhaka North East and Inner Wheel Club of Dhaka North East . A large number of distinguished guests from both club were present in this occasion. As a member of BFA Rtn AFM Alamgir PHF was honored by crest for being DGND 2018-19 & Rtn. Bishwajeet K Roy was awarded by Honor Crest for his benevolent activities towards BFA .
Rtn.PP Kamrul Hasan presided over the program.In his speech President emphasize on the sustainability of the project. Rtn.Hosneara chowdhury,PHF National Representative 2016-17.Mariyam Begum,Dist.Chairman 328, Inner Wheel District ,Bangladesh.Mrs.Suraiya Alam, National representative, International Inner Wheel Club ,Bangladesh. Naima Shakawat, Vice-chairman – 2, Inner Wheel Club. Momtaj Mahal Ranu,District Secretary, Inner Wheel Club.Yasmin Alam, District Treasurer, Inner Wheel Club. Nishat Nazneen ,President, Inner Wheel Club. Nushrat Jahan, Member, Inner Wheel Club were present in the occasion. Every body shows their interest for the sustainability of BFA Schooling program in their short speech.
BFA is a Non-political, non-profit and Non-Government registered Voluntary Development Organization formed with the initiatives of a few committed like minded friends. BFA established in the year 1995 with an aim to promoting human and socio-economical development for the under privileged people specially for women & Children .
